Making the most of your splose trial

Welcome to splose! Your free trial is designed to do one thing well: help you experience how splose works for your practice so you can decide if it's the right fit.

There are four simple set up steps that take you from an empty workspace to booking your first appointment - the fastest way to see splose in action. You can see these set up steps as a checklist in your trial account, making it easy to track your progress.

👉 If you're a practitioner who's been invited to an account, start here instead.

Before you get started

  • Sample data - Your splose trial account contains sample data to illustrate how splose works and guide you through your experience. This includes appointments, support activities and busy time booked in the first two weeks of your calendar, as well as sample progress notes, letters, clinical notes and invoices.

Your trial set up steps

Work through these in order, each one builds on the last. You'll find these same steps in your in-app onboarding checklist.

1. Set up your services

Services are the foundation of your workspace. Everything else - locations, your calendar, online bookings - references the services you create here, so this comes first.

2. Add locations and link your services

Locations tell splose where your business is based, be it a clinic, multiple clinics or a home address. When your locations are set up, it is critical to link them to the services you've created. Services will not appear in your calendar until they're connected to both a location and to your practitioner profile.

3. Set up your profile and availability

Your availability tells splose when you're free to see clients. Without it, nothing can be booked. Setting this up makes you bookable in the calendar so you can test a real appointment in the next step.

4. Book an appointment and test your calendar

This is where it all comes together. Add a test client, book an appointment with them in your calendar, and see how a booking works end to end. The calendar is the central hub of splose, so this is the best way to confirm everything you've set up is working.

What next?

Completed these steps? You can continue setting up your splose account by following our full account owner setup guide which covers setting up templates, automated client notifications, payments, using the calendar, adding clients and inviting your team.

Set up as much as you like - everything you set up during your trial carries over when you move to a full account, so you won't be starting again.

➡️ When you're ready, work through the full account owner setup guide.

If something isn't working

Why aren't my locations, services or practitioners showing on the calendar?

If a service isn't showing in your calendar, it's almost always the link between services, locations and practitioner profile. Make sure all three are is connected first.
