Debtor management

If you are a Xero user and your debtors are in Xero, we recommend keeping them there and managing them using the Aged Receivables report. If your debtors exist in Gensolve, we recommend creating the debtors in splose along with the outstanding balance. Create an invoice and add a "Custom" invoice item line and the amount. You can enter the issue date and due date, then email follow-ups right using email templates. Continue debtor management using the Aged Debtors report in splose.

Export your data from Gensolve

In order to export your data from Gensolve, you will need to contact your Gensolve account manager directly and request these exports. This service may attract a fee.

In case it helps, here's an email template that you may send to Gensolve to get your data:

Dear [Gensolve or account manager's name],

We are planning to migrate to another practice management system, and are organising to migrate our Gensolve data as part of that move.

Could you please advise when you’d be able to perform an all-years data export for us? We are looking to transfer on the [your date of transfer] so it would be great to get this data the day before. [Please can you ensure to include all ACC data in this export]

Kind regards,
...

We won't be able to transfer any data into your splose account until you've shared the Gensolve export with us.

Once you have your exported data, please upload it to your preferred cloud storage service (Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc), and share with us from there.

Don't forget to mention your ACC data

If you invoice ACC and therefore have ACC data in Gensolve, you will need to get this from Gensolve too. Ensure that you have the patient name, ACC claim number, date of injury, read code details to capture all of the important ACC information.
