Calendar preferences control how your calendar looks each time you open it, from the view it loads in to the hours and days it shows. Set them so your calendar shows only the days and hours you work.
This guide shows you how to open your calendar settings, what each preference does, and what to check if an appointment doesn't appear after you change them.
Before you begin
You need access to Settings to change these preferences.
Your preferences only change your own view of the calendar. They don't affect other users.
How-to
Change your calendar preferences
The steps below show how to open your calendar settings and save your changes.
Go to Calendar.
Click the Settings cog next to the date range selector.
Update the preferences you want to change. Each one is described below.
Click Save.
Set a default view
Select day, week or month view as the default view, so that every time you open the calendar page, it loads your preferred view.
Set the time slot length
Select the time slot length for cells on your calendar by selecting from 5 minutes to 60 minutes. Time slot length applies to Day and Week view.
Set the time slot height (in pixels)
Select the pixel height of time slot cells in your calendar. A small number like 10 pixels will mean the cell height is shorter and will display less information and a larger pixel height like 25 will display more information on your calendar.
Set the calendar day start and end
Set the starting hour and ending hour of the day, like 9 am to 5 pm to customise the display of the week view and day view.
Appointments booked outside these hours don't show in Day or Week view. Month view always shows every appointment for each day, whatever your start and end times are.
Excluded days
Select which days should be hidden from all views so that only the days you work are displayed.
Appointments booked on an excluded day won't show on your calendar. Remove the day from Excluded days to see them.
Things to note
Calendar filters are separate from these preferences. Use them to show or hide cancelled appointments, unavailable practitioners, Google Calendar events and rooms/resources colours, or to blur client names (privacy mode).

Troubleshooting and FAQs
An appointment shows on the client's file, but I can't find it on the calendar. Where is it?
An appointment shows on the client's file, but I can't find it on the calendar. Where is it?
It's likely booked outside the hours your calendar shows. Set an earlier Calendar day start or a later Calendar day end, or switch to Month view, which always shows every appointment for each day.
