Connect and configure Tyro Health with Splose to enable health insurance claims.
Add private health insurance details for a client
To pass a client's private health insurance details to Tyro Health, and save you from having to enter their details each time you need to process a claim for a client, you must enter the fund details from the client details page by clicking edit, then search the health fund and adding the client's health fund details.
Process a health insurance claims claim with Tyro Health
Create a health insurance claims appointment and click Add invoice.
Make sure that the health insurance claims provider number is selected.
Once the invoice is created, click health insurance claim under the Pay button.
The Tyro Health modal will appear with client details, location details and service items pre-filled. Review the claim and click Continue to payment.
Tyro Health will send the client an SMS with a link to approve the claim.
Ask the client to approve the claim
The client should click continue when location is needed.
The client can review the health insurance claims claim. If Tyro Health card payments is enabled, you can ask clients to pay the gap payment in the same transaction.
Once completed, the invoice will be marked as paid.
Check the status of a health insurance claims claim
Review the claim status from the invoice, or open in Tyro Health to see more details.
