You can query ACC for the ACC claim details of an existing claim if you have the ACC45 number. This is handy if a patient brings an ACC45 claim number but can’t remember the date of injury and read codes.

Navigate to the ACC tab in the top menu of your splose workspace.

Select the ‘New claim’ button in the top right hand corner of your screen followed by ‘Import Claim from ACC'.

Enter the following information: ACC45 claim number, a Practitioner and Practice before hitting search.

A preview of the claim and patient details should appear, check that these are correct.

Select ‘Import claim' and assign the claim to a patient by searching for the patient by name. Note that the patient must be created in splose before this step.

Once you have completed this, you will see the newly created ACC claim in your ACC Claims section with the status set to Draft.

Edit the claim to Publish it, but not that you do not need to do this to invoice ACC for this claim now.
