Set up the Physitrack integration

Integrate Physitrack to empower practitioners with tailored, evidence-based exercise programs, streamlining exercise prescription.

Discount for splose users

Australia: Use the splose affiliate code "SPLOSE15" for a discount per user per month. This will provide a discount of $4.65 per user per month for the upcoming year. Enter the affiliate code upon sign-up on the Physitrack website in the affiliate code box.

Before You Begin

Set up the Physitrack integration

Physitrack integration settings in splose must be configured individually for each practitioner using the integration.

We recommend having both splose and Physitrack open side-by-side due to each practitioner needing to be set up individually.

  1. In splose, navigate to Workspace Settings.

  2. Select Integrations.

  3. On the Physitrack tile, select Settings.

  4. Select + New API Key.

  5. Select Generate splose API key.

  6. Select the practitioner you want to include in the integration from the practitioner drop-down, then copy their API key. Do not close this modal, as you will be navigating back to this page shortly.

  7. Open a new web browser tab or window, navigate to and use your credentials to log into Physitrack.

Getting your Physitrack API key

Physitrack Direct method

You are most likely using Physitrack Direct if you have a medium to large organisation.

If you are using Physitrack Direct, log into the PT Direct portal and read below, otherwise skip to Physitrack standard method.

  1. Log in to PT Direct portal.

  2. Go to API Access, select Enable API access for practitioners and select all API endpoint access checkboxes.

  3. Navigate to the Practitioners tab, then click on each practitioner.

  4. In the Integrate With drop-down, select splose, then paste the splose API key copied in this step.

  5. Copy the Physitrack API key, then click Save.

  6. Navigate back to splose, and then paste the practitioner's Physitrack API key.

  7. Click Create.

  8. A message confirming that the connection has been established, indicating the practitioner account is now linked with Physitrack.

  9. Repeat this for all your practitioners (if applicable).

Physitrack Standard method

  1. Navigate to the Physitrack website and log in.

  2. Click on Settings and scroll to Integrations.

  3. Under "Synchronise my patient data from", select splose, and paste the splose API Key.

  4. Under API Key, click Enable API access to my account, and copy the API key from Physitrack.

  5. Navigate back to splose, and paste the Physitrack API key.

  6. Click Create.

  7. A message confirming that the connection has been established, indicating the practitioner account is now linked with Physitrack.

    Repeat this for all your practitioners (if applicable).


    Physitrack integration features

    Once Physitrack is integrated, it will appear on the right panel.

    In the Client file, click Sync existing Physitrack client or Create new client in Physitrack depending on whether they are new or currently exist in your Physitrack instance.

    Sync existing Physitrack client

    A list of possible matches will appear. Select the client that matches and click Sync.

    For a match to occur, the following conditions must align in both splose and Physitrack:
    1) First and last name
    2) Year of birth
    3) Sex (in Physitrack, this is allocated using the title).

    Create a new client in Physitrack

    Click Create new client in Physitrack to create a client directly in Physitack.

    Open in Physitrack

    You can then open a client directly in Physitrack to access their exercise programs.

    The client page will be displayed in a new tab.

    Creating exercise programs in splose

    Any exercise programs created in Physitrack will automatically create a PDF in the client Files page in splose.

    Client Sharing

    If "Share Physitrack clients" is selected from Physitrack Direct, clients in Physitrack will be shared. In splose, if practitioners need to access other client's Physitrack details, we recommend selecting this.

    Practices must enable practitioner sharing of patients on PT Direct or Patient Sharing on non-PT Direct accounts.
