Upload files for a client

Drag and drop multiple files at once, and continue working while files upload.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Store files for a client, such as reports, referral documents or images on the client files page.

Uploaded transcription files from a progress note session will also be stored on a client file.

Before you begin

You can upload an entire folder as well as individual files.

Trial accounts have a limit of 5GB of storage across their entire workspace.

How-to

Upload files for a client

  1. Navigate to the Clients tab.

  2. Select the client that you would like to add files to.

  3. Select the Files tab.

  4. You have two options to upload files:

    1. Drag and drop your files from your device into your web browser while the Files page is open.

    2. Click the Upload button.

The upload status will be displayed in the bottom right corner of your page. Once a file has been successfully uploaded, a green tick will be displayed next to the file name in the uploader box in the bottom right corner.

If an upload fails, for example, uploading an unsupported file type, then a red exclamation mark will be displayed next to the file name.

For common file types, Splose will try to display the icon associated with the file type.

That's it! Your files will be stored securely and can be accessed safely at any time. There's plenty more you can do with files, such as viewing and printing, downloading, renaming and deleting.

πŸ’‘ Tip: You can navigate away from the client page once you've uploaded files, for example, going to other client tabs, or going to the calendar. Files will continue to upload on any page you're on unless you cancel them.
