How to Use the File Upload Feature
Step 1: Upload Your Document(s)
You can upload or select up to 3 files.
1. Navigate to the patient’s Progress Note.
2. Click the splose AI icon on the top right.
3. Click the paperclip icon and choose whether you would like to upload a new file or select one from the patient’s files.
4. Choose the document(s) you wish to upload (e.g., specialist report, care plan, hospital discharge summary etc).
Step 2: Let splose AI Analyse the File
Once the file is uploaded, splose AI will begin analysing the file. You will know it's done analysing once the loading icon disappears from the file.
Step 3: Draft Reports, Ask Questions or Use Prompts
After the document is processed:
Request a summary: If you need a quick overview of the document, simply ask splose AI to generate a summary that highlights the key information.
Ask specific questions: You can ask splose AI to find specific information or clarify points from the document. For example, ask about medications, discharge details, or test results.
Use your saved prompts: You can use your saved AI prompts to quickly generate an output that matches your prompt’s instructions or request.
Step 4: Copy or insert to note
You can copy or insert splose AI's responses to your progress note at any time and edit as you please from there. Once splose AI has done the heavy lifting, it is handed over to you to do the final touches.

Upload relevant documents: Ensure that the documents you upload contain clear, relevant information for accurate analysis and summarisation.
Ask specific questions: The more specific your questions, the more accurate and helpful the answers will be.

Key Things To Know About splose AI File Upload
File storage: The file uploaded via splose AI File Upload is only used for extracting information from the file. It will not be saved into the client's files after use.
To save it into the client's file, upload the document into the client's files page first before asking splose AI to analyse it from the client's progress notes.
File size and limits: splose AI can analyse 3 documents at a time, with a file limit of 200MB each.
File formats: splose AI can analyse word documents, images and pdf files.
