Deleting files allows you to clear up files that are no longer needed, freeing up storage space and better organising your client's files.
Before you begin
Certain users can delete client files as required.
Practitioners can delete their own files.
Practitioner admins can delete their files and other practitioner's files
Once a file is deleted, it is moved to the deleted files page where it will be automatically removed after 30 days, freeing up storage space.
To prevent human error and give users a second chance, all files can be restored within 30 days of being deleted.
How-to
Delete client files
Navigate to the Clients page.
Select the client where the uploaded file is located.
Select the Files tab.
Select the Action (•••) menu.
Select Delete.
Select Delete in the modal to confirm the deletion.
Permanently delete a file
You can access the deleted file list to permanently delete a file.
Only a Practitioner Admin can perform the following.
Please note that this action is permanent, and you will be unable to restore a permanently deleted file.
Navigate to the Clients page.
Select the client where the uploaded file is located.
Select the Files tab.
Select the Show Deleted Files button.
For the file you would like to permanently delete, click the Action (•••) menu, then click Delete Forever.
Confirm the deletion by clicking DELETE FOREVER.
Restore a file
Navigate to the Clients page.
Select the client where the uploaded file is located.
Select the Files tab.
Select the Show Deleted Files button.
For the file you would like restore, click the Action (•••) menu, then select Restore.
A message will appear at the top of the page confirming that the file has been restored.
