If a specific contact or client always pays an invoice for a client, you can assign a default invoice recipient for the client. This way, regardless of who creates the invoice for the client, the correct recipient will be selected. This prevents team members from invoicing the wrong person, particularly common when invoicing third-party contacts.
Go to the Client details tab and click Edit. Scroll towards the bottom of the page and select if the default invoice recipient is a client or contact.
Then, search for the client or contact.
Now, when you invoice the client, the default invoice recipient will be selected.
