When to use contact statements
Contact statements can save you time in various ways:
When billing a third-party payer across multiple clients, generate a consolidated statement addressed to that contact so that you can send it and receive prompt payment.
When managing invoices under a single plan manager or insurer, filter and aggregate them automatically to produce accurate period-end statements without manual data entry.
When a contact asks what they owe, download or email a formatted statement directly from splose and respond quickly.
Before you begin
To ensure an invoice will show in a contact statement, when editing an invoice be sure the contact is selected in the 'Invoice to' field.
How to
Generate a statement for a contact
To generate a statement for a payer contact:
Go to the Contacts tab and select the payer contact
Then go to Statements
Select the date, location, and the specific client or all clients from the dropdown, then click Update
A list of their clients will then be generated, which expand to show any outstanding invoices
The statement can then be emailed to the contact or downloaded by clicking the Email statement or Download PDF buttons at the top right of the page
