Performance Overview

This feature is available for the following user roles:

Practitioner Admin, Practice Manager, Account Owner

The Performance Overview provides a snapshot of your practice's financial and operational health, eliminating the need for complex reporting. By comparing real-time data against previous periods, you can quickly identify trends and make informed decisions to drive growth.

This article will show you where to locate the dashboard and how to navigate the interface. You will learn to customise date ranges and interpret key metrics to maintain a clear view of your performance.


Before you start

Permissions

The following outlines the default access each role has for this feature.

Practioner admin

Full access to all Performance Overview features, including all metrics, filters, and data across the entire practice.

Practice Manager

Has access to Performance Overview with some limitations:

  • Can view all performance metrics and reports

  • Can filter by practitioners and locations

  • May not see the user groups filter if they do not have access to user group settings

  • Will have no access if the "No access to reports" permission is enabled for their role

Account Owner

Access depends on their assigned role. Account owners can be assigned any role, so their permissions vary accordingly. The minimum possible access would be a practitioner role with:

  • No finance access

  • No settings access

  • Only their own reports are visible (will only see themselves in the Performance Overview

  1. Log in to your splose workspace.

  2. Select Reports in the navigation bar.

How-to

Use filters

The following filters are available in the Performance Overview:

  • Date range

  • Practitioner

  • Groups

  • Locations

You can also select the Compare toggle to narrow down your date-related data. This will add comparison data from the previous period of the same length. For example, selecting a date range of 4 December to 8 December will add the last data from 29 November to 3 December to your reports.

The following outlines how to use the filters.

Date Filter

Click the date range selector at the top of the Performance Overview.

You can manually select a date range to view, or you can use the quick selector to select data from:

  • Last week

  • This week

  • Last fortnight

  • This fortnight

Practitioner, Groups, and Locations Filter

Select the Filter dropdown at the top of the Performance Overview.

Here, you can select individual groups, individual locations, and individual practitioners to display on the Performance Overview.

Download Reports

Some reports can be downloaded as an image (PNG, JPG) and CSV, while other reports can only be downloaded as a CSV.

  1. Navigate to the Performance Overview.

  2. Select the β€’β€’β€’ (Action menu) for the report you would like to download.

  3. Select whether you would like to download the report as an image or a CSV file. Please see the above regarding the options for some of the reports.

  4. The selected file type will be downloaded to your device.
