Regardless, contact preferences help you override any global contact preference settings, helping you meet your client's needs without affecting your communications as a whole.

Contact preferences also help your business comply with the Australian Privacy Principles, GDPR, and PIPEDA.

By default, all workspaces have client contact preferences set to receive SMS & Email and you can update the workspace settings applied to all new clients and existing clients.

To record contact preferences for a client, go to the client details page and scroll to the Contact preference section, select from the options for "SMS & Email, SMS, Email or None".
