Updated over a week ago

Autofill is typically defaulted in several browsers to help prevent you from filling out fields repeatedly. This can cause an issue while using adding or updating information by auto-filling out unintended fields and accidentally saving over important details.

Firefox

  1. Click on the Firefox menu icon (three lines at the top right of the screen)

  2. Click on Preferences

  3. Choose Privacy & Security

  4. To prevent Firefox from using autofill for search and form history, select Use custom settings for history and uncheck Remember search and form history

Chrome

  1. Click the Chrome menu icon (three dots at the top right of the screen)

  2. Click on Settings

  3. In the Autofill section, expand the area for which you wish to disable Autofill.

  4. Toggle the setting OFF if it is on. The system will automatically save your settings.

Safari

  1. Click the Safari menu

  2. Click Preferences

  3. Choose AutoFill

  4. Uncheck Using info from my contacts and Other Forms. The system will automatically save your settings.
