Autofill is a feature used in several browsers to help prevent you from filling out fields over and over again. This can sometimes cause an issue while using adding or updating information by auto-filling out unintended fields and accidentally saving over important information. This help guide will explain how to disable the autofill options in some of the most popular web browsers to prevent this information from being unintentionally saved or used in your browser.
Disable autofill in Firefox
Click on the Firefox menu icon (three lines at the top right of the screen)
Click on Preferences
Choose Privacy & Security
To prevent Firefox from using autofill for search and form history, select Use custom settings for history and uncheck Remember search and form history

Disable autofill in Chrome
Click the Chrome menu icon (three dots at the top right of the screen)
Click on Settings
In the Autofill section, expand the area for which you wish to disable Autofill.
Toggle the setting OFF if it is on. The system will automatically save your settings.


Disable autofill in Safari
Click on the Safari menu (the word Safari at the top of the screen)
Click on Preferences
Choose AutoFill
Uncheck Using info from my contacts and Other Forms. The system will automatically save your settings.

Disable autofill in Microsoft Edge
Select the More actions button (three lines at the top right of the screen)
Click on Settings
Select View advanced settings.
Uncheck Save form entries.
