There are a few reasons why you may not be able to create a bulk bill or patient claim, and we've done our best to mention some of the known reasons:
There are multiple clients listed on an invoice
If your invoice has multiple clients listed, then it will not be possible to create a claim. A claim can only be for one client.
Invoicing to a contact
Bulk bill and patient claims are specifically for clients, so having a contact listed as the recipient will not be a valid invoice for Medicare claiming.
Practitioners have not been approved in Medipass
It can usually take up to 5 business days to be approved by Medipass, which would prevent you from creating a claim. If you have not been approved after 5 business days, it might be worth contacting the Medipass team for an update on your approval.
